The kuenstler is artist is artist is POP. Basta.
"Postcard from a foreign strand" is a light-heartedly lugubrious drum'n'bass-infected souvenir from Treu's last minute holiday to a remote resort where remixers recreate. It's stamped with the pixxxy voices of the lovely Miss Lalavox and comes with greetings from the Phoneheads and The Gentle People.
The latter take a deep hale and set out on a downbeat excursion into their holiday home's living room, refurnishing that with some exquisite italian moog-schmoog interior. The Phoneheads take it more from the light-hearted side and hop in their own jazzy and breaky way into sundown.
The uncompromising original version is also included as well as 'Is it me', a bitchy wave hymn for everybody still confusing his head with his hat.
The soon-coming vinyl oversize-maxicard will reserve some additional greeting space for fellow travellers Jackmate, Jean-Michel's 'postage paid by adressee mix' and a version by the grand seigneur of cuteness, Tim 'Love' Lee.
